Adhirasam
Ariselu is a very traditional and common sweet in South India and is
known by various names like ‘Ariselu’ in Andhra Pradesh, ‘Kajjaya’ in Karnataka
and ‘Adhirasam’ om Tamilnadu. It is
prepared using rice flour, jiggery, Cardamom, Ghee and oil (for frying). This
sweet can be prepared with sugar also.
The doughnut like pastry has a long history of popularity in Tamil
civilization. Stores in an airtight container for up to 15 days.

Raw Rice - 1 Kg (Pacharise)
Jaggery - 3/4 Kg
Cardamom - 6 (Remove the Pods)
Oil for deep Frying
